Ⅰ、Important Words
1. right adj.合適的
He is the right person for the job.
2. quake
eg. The ground quaked under his feet.
3. smart
eg. a smart businessman 一個(gè)精明的商人
He looks smart. 他看起來很帥氣。
4. excuse （常與for連用）
(1) vt. 寬恕 Please excuse me for being late.
(2) n. 借口 There is no excuse for not studying.
5. bond n. 關(guān)系，聯(lián)系，紐帶
the bonds of friendship 友誼的紐帶
The trade agreement helped to strength bonds between the two countries.

3. Nod your head when you agree with something or wag your head when you don’t (19, L45)
