Step1 Revision GreetingsCheck the homework by asking students one by one.Now we begin with the topic of what will be the transportation like in the future. It is the right time to introduce you imaginative world.Step2 Listening1. Pre-reading the questions on page 9 and 10.2. Listen to the tape and try to catch the general idea of the passage.3. Check the answers with them.4. Listen to the tape again. This time try to get down to details and ensure that you fully understand it.Step3. ListeningFor training listening ability, the teacher could read the passage to the students in different speed and encourage them to take notes. In this way, the students can really force themselves to remember as many contents as possible in short period rather then only pick out keys from the ABCD.1. Give the instructions.You are going to hear a passage under the topic of Fact and Fantasy for totally four times. For the first time, you just listen for the main idea and the speed of saying will be normal; then at the second and third ones sentences in the passage will be read slowly for you to write down.
