2．句型： 1）Which is your favourite month? 2）When did you start in this school? 3）How many minutes are there in an hour?

3．語法：序數(shù)詞。

二、教具

錄音機；掛歷一個。

三、課堂教學設計

1．復習值日生報告。

2．教師出示掛歷，教授十二個月份的名稱。反復領讀，學生可以看書認讀。在學生能初步讀出這些詞后，教師在黑板上按如下方式列出序數(shù)詞和月份的名稱：

the first montn January

the second month February

the third month March

the twelfth month December

給學生三分鐘時間，自己練習朗讀。然后教師向?qū)W生提問，速度由慢到快：

T： Which is the first month?

Ss： January.

T： Which is the second month?

Ss： February.

先是依次提問，然后打亂順序，鍛煉學生反應能力。

組織學生兩人一組，模仿剛才示范進行問答練習。提醒同學練的目的是既要能答，也要去問，并且逐漸熟練。要求少出或不出錯誤。

3．學生兩人一組，先用口頭形式練習課文第2部分的問答。然后用書面形式回答（可布置為家庭作業(yè)）。

4．教師通過如下演示，教favourite, worst等詞：

T：（手指黑板上 May一詞）I like May best. So May is my favourite month. （手指January一詞） I don't like January. I think it's the worst.

放慢語速，重復兩遍。領讀生詞。

放課文第3部分錄音，學生跟讀兩遍。

5．課文第4部分可根據(jù)時間情況取舍。

6．指導學生做練習冊習題。

7．布置作業(yè)

1）練習朗讀本課生詞、對話；2）抄寫本課詞語；3）完成練習冊習題。
